What is this? Something new to me?
| Saw it on the way to the Cajun Kitchen. On the way back, pulled over and shot through the car window with my new Canon 30D with its 28-135 mm lens. Yes, a new camera. The Digital Rebel will go to Jeanne as soon as her Sony Mavica (FD91) breaks. She will not give it up with its floppy storage until forced to. The floppy storage is the only thing … outdated … about her I might add.
Back to the plant: the pod seems familiar but the bloom just doesn’t register. I am going to feel funny when you tell me this is a plant I should know. Oh well, if I am becoming more forgetful it is just another sign of getting old (maybe getting old but still frisky). Oh, those pods are so familiar, I can feel them in my mind, between my fingers; the texture, the response when you gently squeeze; maybe a similar pod, with black seeds; maybe something entirely different. Such a strange recall. |

Looks like a clematis to me. I have just got my first digital camera. It is a really cheapy, in fact a free Dove promotion. It doesn’t do much but I want to see if I will grow to like photography as a hobby. If so I can get a better one. Your pictures are great.

Hi.
That sounds familiar.
You live in a great place to take pictures. (I visited your blog)

Eric
I just recently came across your site, and I have to say I am thrilled I found it. I’ve been journaling since I learned to write—which means my first journal entry read something like, “Today nap time came early,” and I love finding new blogs to follow…
